“I have called you by name and bestowed on you a title of honor, though you did not acknowledge me.” —Isaiah 45:4–5
In this immersive multimedia installation, Called You By Name invites participants on a spiritual and sensory journey—beginning with a knock, unfolding through personalized interaction, and culminating in a radiant release of light. The piece gently asks each visitor to consider the possibility of being known, created, and called by a greater divine presence. Through synchronized visuals, responsive animation, scripture, and sound. Viewers do not merely observe; they participate. They knock. They are called.
At the heart of this piece lies a question of origin and purpose. We are made of stardust—scientifically, materially—yet we also carry something immaterial: the image of God. The installation invites reflection on this paradox: that we are both cosmic and personal, formed from the dust of the earth and intentionally crafted by divine hands. If the universe bears witness to grandeur and order, might it also hint at a Creator who knows us by name.
