Chandler McWilliams

(Lecturer)

Chandler McWilliams studied film and political science at the University of Illinois and later went on to complete graduate work in philosophy at The New School For Social Research in New York City.

While in graduate school, Chandler decided to return to programming, an art he began a decade earlier. Relearning to program had a profound impact on his philosophical interests, and offered him new medium for artistic exploration. Coding became for him a new way of making, one that eschewed the traditional distinctions between the creative and the logical. His current work focuses on themes of non-linearity, affect, repetition, and epistemology.
