Philippe Vergne is Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA). Since 1992 Vergne has organized and curated monographic, group and thematic exhibitions at major institutions around the world including, among others for Carl André, Yves Klein, Thomas Hirschorn, Huang Yong Ping and Kara Walker. In 2006, Vergne co-curated the Whitney Biennial with Chrissie Iles. In 2008 He became the director of the Dia Art Foundation, New York until 2014 when he was appointed director of MOCA in January 2014.
