The choreographer and set designer for a new ballet by Philip Glass broadly based on Alice in Wonderland.
Amir Housseinpour’s work crosses many boundaries in the arts. Amir has lived in London for the past 10 years and has an incredible curriculum vitae that include choreography for the Opera Garnier (Paris Opera), Staatstoper Unter den Linden (Berlin), Bayerisches, Staatstoper (Munich), La Scala, (Milan). Amir has also directed “Castor and Pollux” and “Platee” ath e Netherlands Opera in Amsterdam.
Robert Israel is a set and costume designer for opera and theater. His work has been seen at the Lincoln Center Theater, the Metropolitan Opera , the National Operas in London and Tokyo, the Paris Opera, Vienna and many other international locations. Israel's costume drawings are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and an Obie award.
