Los Angeles' streets open to peopleApril 10, 2011, 10:00 am »
This Sunday, enjoy a 7-mile stretch of pavement like never before. From Melrose and Heliotrope, through Downtown LA, to Boyle heights, the streets close to cars and open to people. The first of four CicLAvias this year.
Walk, ride a bike, bring a scooter, skateboard, rollerskates, whatever you wish. Possibly a watergun.
If you'd like to leave West LA and bike across town with a group, there is a ride leaving the BikeRoWave in Mar Vista at 9:30am.
