Motion Theory is a studio redefining the production industry through a combination of creative development, filmmaking, and innovative visual effects. The company's unique studio model unites the efforts of directors, designers, visual effects artists, writers, and others, resulting in a deeply collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to making commercials, music videos, and other creative content.

Motion Theory has delivered work for some of the world’s leading companies, including Budweiser, Electronic Arts, ESPN, Gatorade, Hewlett Packard, NBC/Universal, Nike, Sony BMG Records, Warner Records, and partnered with top agencies such as Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Ogilvy & Mather and Wieden Kennedy. Additionally, leading artists, including Beck, Modest Mouse, and REM have sought out the studio’s directors to create music videos.

The studio has been recognized for its groundbreaking projects, receiving awards from the AICP, AIGA, Art Directors Club, Clios, D&AD, and MVPA for outstanding direction, creative design, animation, and multi-channel work.
