any/nano/body, a performance event that brings nano science to life through innovative choreography and site-specific improvisation. Choreographers Marianne M. Kim and Norah Zuniga Shaw work with master performers Harmony Bench, Rebecca Bryant, Peter Carpenter, Kristen Smiarowski, Cheng-Chieh Yu to discover the nano science of our bodies and put it into to motion. San Diego musician Don Nickels joins the performers to guide the audience through the exhibition

nano is an exhibition conceptualized and developed by media artist Victoria Vesna and nano-scientist James Gimzewski together with a team of their graduate students, and directed by Ashok Sukumaran. It is comprised of electron wavefunctions to the social and cultural ramifications and expectations of this pioneering science. N. Katherine Hayles, also with her students, worked on the text and edited a volume inspired by the project, NanoCulture: Implications of a New Technoscience. The exhibition architecture, based on buckminster Fuller's dymaxion map is designed by Johnston Marklee & Associates.
