Seeking an Instructor for two Fall courses at Loyola Marymount University.
An ideal candidate will be someone with college/university teaching experience and a diverse background in digital media, multimedia/media arts, design spanning expanded design practices with both interactive and time-based media.

Art 1002 Foundation II (Digital Media for Art and Design)Monday and Wednesday 9:55am-11:35am
In this introductory digital media expression course students develop a portfolio of art projects that help them build a foundation in art and design practices. They will explore software applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign along with other digital painting apps such as Corel Painter. Projects can span digital painting/illustration, animated gifs, collage, posters, magazine layouts, etc.

ART 3766 Multimedia Narratives Tuesday and Thursday 9:55-11:35 am
This course focuses on the exploration of narrative in time-based and interactive media contexts. Ideal candidate would have a background in creating and teaching video production, video art/experimental cinema and (online) new media approaches to story exploration and development to students with an introductory knowledge of Adobe media software. Through a series of creative studio projects students are introduced to video production and video editing with Adobe Premiere, basic audio recording techniques using Adobe Audition or any other mac based open source audio application, as well as, one of the following interactive multimedia platforms such as Unity, Unreal Engine Adobe Animate, p5.Js/JavaScript, Adobe Aero, etc.
