for DESMA154 Word&Image taught by professor Rebeca Mendez 18 Words, 18 Works is a book containing 18 unique signatures from different student designers. Each student was to pick a word and create a project around it. After completing their projects, the signatures were compiled and sewn into one giant book. My word 'SIGNATURE' served as the foundation for a book that I made to document my maternal grandfather's life. In doing so, I hoped to connect to a man I had never met before and discover more about myself through the process.
