Jakiro was my first project for Interactivity, Fall 2012. The assignment was to create a geometric face that responded to vocal input. The initial idea was to create two faces instead of one which would take turns responding to input. A personal goal of mine was to make it look as organic as possible by making input influence acceleration and momentum instead of position, and adjusting hue and size of certain shapes at certain times to create the illusion of depth. The actual shapes and color scheme were inspired by a video game character of the same name. Video Files
