"Eden’s Tri-Ego Utopia" is a visual representation of the garden of Eden, where the trinity of the self harmoniously converges. The garden of Eden, already fertile, lacks coloration, symbolizing the incomplete nature of the self. However, through the harmony of three selves, a vibrant utopia emerges. Inspired by "Rushmore Mountain," my three expressions correspond to the three selves, forming the primary elements of the garden.
Thus, videos representing the self of desire and impulse, ID; the self of moral standards, Superego; and the self that balances the two and achieves harmony with others, Ego, are composed. Only when these videos are all played in unison does the beautiful garden of Eden come to fruition. The audience can directly experience and observe the visual outcome of the combination of each self's harmony and the three videos by pressing three buttons, constituting an interactive media exhibition.
This work, with its sophisticated aesthetics and conceptual depth, seeks to visually express the diversity and harmony of the self, as well as explore the inner world of humanity.
