Gottfried Haider is an artist, educator, and software tool builder. He received a degree in Digital Arts from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna in 2009, and an MFA from the Design Media Arts program at UCLA in 2013. He currently holds the position of Assistant Arts Professor at NYU Shanghai. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and media art festivals internationally and is a recipient of the Processing Foundation Fellowship. His work considers the intersection of technology and the quotidian, and with a close engagement with hardware and software, offers fresh and nuanced perspectives in the realm of entirely mediated existence.
