Casper is a (typo)graphic + interaction designer from The Netherlands. His interests are in communicating complex subjects from the natural and social sciences to a broad audience.

Casper holds a BA in graphic design from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. His final project was about Einstein's special theory of relativity. Afterward, he worked at Buro Petr van Blokland + Claudia Mens. In 2007 Casper started the MSc Media Technology program at Leiden University, which focuses on doing scientific research in a creative way. His graduation thesis was a book on the relativity of perception, in collaboration with Bastiaan Terhorst. Together they founded PERCEPTOR in 2008. PERCEPTOR works across media and disciplines to create things that ‘delight and inspire’. Clients include World Press Photo, Apple Europe and Wacom.
