After graduating from UCLA's Design | Media Art program in 2001, Ben began his career at BIG Interactive where he produced work for FOX, Universal, Princess Cruises, and KB Home. Lured by the glamour of hollywood he later moved across town to work for CBS at historic Television City. There, amongst the various sound stages and Price is Right memorabilia he designed websites for CBS's prime time shows including CSI, Survivor, and The Late Show. In fact, David Letterman was once so moved by his work that he called for his firing... on air.

After two years of trying to transform the future of television Ben joined up with his childhood friend Roy Rubin as Varien's Design Director. Together they built Varien's reputation as one of the leading ecommerce firms in the US. It was during Varien's awesome growth however that Ben was courted by Facebook to become a product designer there. Though Varien was still in its infancy the Facebook opportunity to work on a product so revolutionary proved too enticing. Today, Ben is Facebook's marketing design lead where he spends his days ensuring that people worldwide are able to connect and share with the people they care about.
