After completing his MFA at UCLA in 2005, Andrew Hieronymi accepted a position to teach in the interactive Design and Game Development department at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. At SCAD, the courses Andrew teaches to both undergraduates and graduates range from human-centered design to programming interactivity as well as introduction to interactive art and alternative gaming. He has also developed new courses for the department’s curriculum with a broad range of topics, such as physical computing and 2D game design. Andrew’s recent work is a continuation of his interest in the boundaries between games and art in physical environments. He has exhibited and talked internationally in art venues and media festivals, such as Ars Electronica (06), SIGGRAPH (06), FILE (07, 06, 02), Microwavefest (05) and Futureplay (05) among others.
