"Each seat must be occupied and everyone has to stay until each participating member goes.

Four human ears. Cast from camphor and beeswax. Your participation activates heat beneath each ear. The wax begins to soften. You lean close.
You whisper your desires into it. A hollow forms where your breath touched. The ears cave inward, weeping down their surface. They cannot endure.
The room thickens with camphor vapor, desires released into air, unanchored, dispersing.

How much desire can each ear hold before it gives itself up?"
