Carolina Trigo: Yours Truly, XXX-CT

Carolina was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she began her training in Fine Arts. She later moved to California and received her B.F.A. in Communication Design from Art Center College of Design. She is set to begin her graduate studies at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland this fall.

Since 2003 she has been a faculty member at Art Center College of Design where she teaches typography, print and motion design. Carolina is the main graphic design consultant at UeBERSEE, a studio bridging cultural and stylistic influences between the US and Europe, her latest project being an architecture exhibit curated by the Vitra Design Museum called “Open House: Architecture and Technology for Intelligent Living."

Carolina’s client list includes: Adobe Systems, Motorola, Raygun Magazine, Disney, American Express, Dove, Aiga, Atomica Magazine, UCLA Department of Architecture and Urban Design, Sci-Arc, Art Center College of Design and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. She has also worked as a production designer for independent films and has received awards from the D&AD, UK, The One Club, Spark Design and Architecture Awards, Step Inside Design’s “Best of Web” and a Graphis Gold Medal Award.

In 2004 she founded her own studio emogenic, her philosophy: we are the imagination of ourselves.
