Forever is Not Long Enough

A group art show about memory and perception

FOREVER IS NOT LONG ENOUGH is a group art show about memory and perception. It explores how images are created from memories of people, places and things, and how these memories take on different forms and shapes over time. The images themselves question authenticity: does each particular piece portray truth or illusion? The show is designed to evoke feelings of nostalgia carefully crafted by the exhibited works: each piece seeks to give memory a solid, tangible presence. Walking the line dividing reality and fantasy, the exhibit asks the viewer to question how much truth lies in each work, and if there is any real value to how truthful memories are if they successfully stimulate emotional response.
