Visions Adrift presents a collection of collaborative projects centered around the common themes of dreams and parallel realities. Housed within a digital vision of UCLA’s Experimental Digital Arts exhibition space, these ten works interpret the themes in myriad ways– from the use of forms from nature as metaphors for the subconscious, to playful variations on one’s morning routine or shopping addiction, to attempts to capture the fleeting images of nightmares, AI glitches, and expressions of love. Threads emerge that can be recognized from any of our dreams- those almost unexplainable things that make us all human. We welcome you into this strange but perhaps familiar place.
