Canopy Gallery is pleased to present the first solo exhibition by Amsterdam / Los Angeles based artist Anna Reutinger. Real Talk is a confession-cam* booth modeled off of those employed on reality tv shows. Real Talk allows the residents of the Wandering School to speak candidly about their daily experience during the Wandering School residency—expressing any concerns, gossip, comments, feedback, questions and intimate details of daily life in the palazzo. The interior of the booth is furnished with soft flesh tones and an abstract painting by Nate Argen, to provide a feeling of comfortable dislocation—in between a hospital waiting room and a distant future, between body and technology.
