Peter Lunenfeld is the recipient of the 2013 Dorothy Lee Award for Outstanding Scholarship in the Ecology of Culture. His research interests include media philosophy, art history, design theory, and the digital humanities. His books include The Secret War Between Downloading and Uploading: Tales of the Computer as Culture Machine (MIT, 2011), USER: InfoTechnoDemo (MIT, 2005), Snap to Grid: A User's Guide to Digital Arts, Media, and Cultures (MIT, 2000).
