Isla Lacerta
(the prophecy)

Welcome humble housekeeper
to traverse Lacerta Island.
Hope the maintenance is a long one,
full of adventure, full of discovery.
Cryptohunters and meteor fires,
angry Turok – don't be afraid of them:
you'll never find things like that in the caves
as long as you keep your thoughts raised high,
as long as a rare excitement
stirs your reptilian brain.
Bitcoin miners and mesh modifiers,
wild Philosoraptor – you won't encounter them
unless you bring them along inside your soul,
unless your soul sets them up in front of you.

Hope the maintenance is a long one.
May there be many a summer morning when,
with such pleasure, much joy,
you walk into the jungle, as if for the first time;
may you visit tribal galleries
to admire fine art,
reverse skevomorphs, Jurassic knaps,
dried mushrooms for your senses –
as many dried mushrooms as you can;.
and may you access the dark data center
to gather stores of data from its servers.

Keep Lacerta always in your mind.
Arriving here is what you were destined for.
Do not hurry the maintenance at all.
Better if it lasts for years,
so you are older by the time your work here is done,
wealthy with all you have gained on the way,
not expecting Lacerta to make you rich.

Lacerta gave you the marvelous journey.
Neither bitcoins or power you can access here.
She has nothing left to give you now.

And if you found her poor, Lacerta didn't fool you.
Wise as you have become, so full of data,
you have by now understood, what Lacertas mean.
